📋 Description

• Lead and develop ML Engineers and Data Scientists on delivery-focused projects.
• Build and scale models to optimise rider dispatch based on food prep times.
• Own ML systems that communicate ETA and restaurant availability to users.
• Manage core delivery metrics like surge, marketplace balance and restaurant ranking.
• Translate complex delivery problems into production ML and optimisation.
• Partner with Product, Software Engineering and Operations from framing to deployment.

🎯 Requirements

• Line manage ML Engineers and Data Scientists and support their development.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying ML or optimisation systems into production.
• Strong background in logistics, optimisation, supply chain or network-based problems.
• Experience in cross-functional product teams with engineers, PMs and ops.
• Comfort in fast-changing environments with noisy data and tight feedback loops.
• A pragmatic, impact-focused mindset prioritising outcomes over theory.
