Our Global HR Business Partnering model operates within a centres-of-excellence framework, with specialised HR units dedicated to their own client groups for optimal support and expertise.
As an HR Business Partner – Technology, you will support the VP, HR – Technology in partnering with senior leaders across Engineering. You’ll help deliver people initiatives that enable business success, collaborating closely with HR colleagues and stakeholders to bring our People strategy to life.
This role is based in our London HQ office, with hybrid working options.
Partner with and support senior business leaders across the Technology organisation, providing practical advice and coaching on People-related matters.
Support the VP, HR – Technology in delivering people initiatives and cyclical programmes across the function.
Help implement the People plan for the Technology organisation, ensuring alignment with business goals and the broader Deliveroo People strategy.
Collaborate with People Operations, Talent Acquisition, Reward, DE&I, Internal Communications and Legal to deliver seamless HR solutions.
Contribute to change and organisational-development initiatives, helping teams scale effectively.
Provide data-driven insights on engagement, attrition, diversity and organisational health to inform decision-making.
Coordinate cyclical HR processes such as performance reviews, compensation cycles and workforce planning.
Support the management of employee-relations cases and investigations, ensuring fair, consistent and timely outcomes.
Champion Deliveroo’s culture and values, fostering an inclusive and engaging employee experience.
Experience as an HR Business Partner in a fast-paced, matrixed organisation (ideally within technology or a comparable environment).
Strong stakeholder-management and relationship-building skills across all levels.
Demonstrated ability to support the delivery of HR programmes and processes that drive business performance.
Good understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice (knowledge of Indian labour law is helpful but not required).
Analytical mindset – able to interpret people data and use insights to inform action.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to adapt to different audiences.
Proactive, organised and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Genuine passion for enabling people and teams to do their best work.
