Summary:

Delinea is looking for a Senior Product Designer to evolve our Delinea Design System — a foundational element of the Delinea platform that ensures consistent, high-quality experiences across feature areas. In this role, you will create and maintain our library of design components, guidelines, and associated visual assets, in close collaboration with other designers and cross-functional peers. If you're passionate about creating visually consistent and cohesive experiences, join us in shaping the future of our rapidly growing product portfolio. This role reports the VP of User Experience.

This position will be Hybrid in our Mexico City Office - In Office Days are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.

What You’ll Do

• Create and maintain thorough documentation for components, patterns, and implementation guidance to support adoption and consistent usage.

• Elevate the quality of our product interface and ensure that interaction and visual design standards are reflected in new features.

• Continually refine components based on cross-product needs, feedback, usage scenarios, and evolving platform requirements.

• Scale our design system contribution and review processes, in partnership with team members, to achieve a balance between feedback collection and clear ownership.

• Lead and facilitate design system working sessions with cross-functional teams.

• Provide onboarding and ongoing guidance to team members around our design system.

We'd Love to See

• 8+ years of experience in design systems or product design with at least 2 years dedicated to building or managing design systems and driving cross-platform consistency.

• Proven experience working with engineers and design peers to deliver designs that have visual harmony, represent our brand personality, and complement usability while maintaining a high standard of performance and accessibility.

• Deep understanding of design system principles, governance, and best practices for release management and communication.

• Demonstrated mastery of Figma, including advanced knowledge of components, variants, tokens, version management, and file structure.

• Excellent craft and attention to detail in layout, spacing, visual hierarchy, color, typography and interaction design.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead discussions and drive decisions across designer and non-designer stakeholders.

• A portfolio that demonstrates how you created new design components or patterns, tackled complex UI challenges at scale, and made significant contributions to a design system.

Bonus if you Have:

• Experience with design system documentation platforms and processes for design-to-code alignment (e.g., Storybook, Zeroheight, design token workflows).

• Basic understanding of front-end technologies and implementation considerations (e.g., HTML/CSS, React, Android, or native frameworks).

• Specialization in product illustration as part of a product design system.
