Senior Staff Software Engineer | Voice at DeepL
DeepL is a global AI-powered translation platform. We are seeking a hands-on Senior Staff Engineer to lead our Voice Track, owning full-stack architecture and development for real-time voice translation systems. You will mentor teams, shape product direction, and scale voice infrastructure for low latency, high uptime with ML integration.
Responsibilities
- Own full-stack solutions end to end: front-end to backend and audio pipelines
- Lead by example: contribute production code and guide architectural decisions
- Mentor and elevate: coaching, reviews, observability, reliability, and scale
- Shape product direction: collaborate with product managers, researchers, designers
- Scale voice infrastructure: low latency, high uptime, seamless UX, ML integration
