We are

seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about leveraging their technical skills in a purpose-driven environment to improve healthcare outcomes.

What You'll Do

Lead the design, development, and deployment of machine learning models( BERT + LLM ) into real-world production applications.

Implement and maintain ML pipelines, ensuring scalability and efficiency.

Analyze and manipulate raw data formats (FHIR, JSON, CSV) for ML model training and deployment.

Utilize AWS services for various data engineering and machine learning tasks.

Assist in data ingestion(ie. flow from raw data to Elasticsearch documents) and processing of streaming data through ML models.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and meet data requirements.

Ensure the integrity, availability, and privacy of data in line with industry standards.

About You

5+ years of experience in software engineering, machine learning, and deploying models into production.

Strong programming skills in Python, Kotlin/Java, or Scala with a deep understanding of object-oriented programming principles.

Extensive experience with distributed computing systems (we use AWS).

Familiarity with AWS services like Lambda, S3, ECS.

Experience with microservices and event-driven systems.

Familiarity with search engines (ideally Lucene-based, like Elasticsearch).

Expert in deploying machine learning models, especially BERT models and LLMs, into production environments.

High-level understanding of machine learning models, pipelines, training, and deployment.

Strong communication skills and ability to articulate complex technical concepts.

Eager learner and self-starter, with an inclination towards problem-solving.

Ability to work remotely and collaborate with a distributed team.
