- Monitor and prioritize internal ticketing system to provide customer support
- Perform basic OS storage troubleshooting, upgrades, hardware troubleshooting and RAID configuration
- Provide hardware support/upgrades for servers running Windows Server, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Ubuntu Linux or VMware ESX Server
- Basic OS administration: IP configuration, PXE installs, firmware updates, and basic troubleshooting
- Install/maintain cabling and Layer 1 network testing; install network devices (switches, firewalls, load balancers, security appliances)
- Install hardware on storage devices (DAS/NAS) and complete cabling for deployments
🎯 Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience in data center environment or equivalent technology background
- Minimum 2 years experience or familiarity with building, repairing or upgrading hardware components
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Strong understanding of storage RAID configurations and requirements
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, 24x7x365 including holidays and weekends
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs overhead
