Role: Sales Engineer, Southeast
As a Sales Engineer in Dataiku's Southeast region, you will be a trusted technical advisor in the sales cycle, partnering with Account Executives to showcase the Dataiku platform and craft tailored technical solutions for customers in the Southeast.
Responsibilities
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations and technical presentations of Dataiku to customers in the Southeast.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions, including data pipelines, machine learning workflows, and deployment considerations.
- Collaborate with Account Executives, Solutions Engineers, and Customer Success to drive win rates.
- Respond to RFIs/RFPs with clear technical proposals and ROI.
- Build and run proofs-of-concept and pilots to validate value for customers.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Dataiku features, enterprise architecture, and competitive positioning.
- Answer customer questions about data integration, APIs, scalability, security, and governance.
- Capture customer feedback and share with Product and Solutions teams.
- Travel within the region as needed.
Requirements
- 3+ years in pre-sales or sales engineering for enterprise software or SaaS.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills; ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with data science platforms; experience with Python, SQL, APIs; ability to discuss data workflows.
- Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and integration patterns.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven collaboration skills with cross-functional teams and ability to work independently.
- Authorized to work in the United States; remote in the Southeast; willingness to travel regionally.
Location and Work Model
Remote-friendly role based in North America. Location preference is the Southeast United States; role is remote with some regional travel as needed.
