Overview
We are seeking a Technical Support Engineer I-II to join our APAC Solutions Engineering team in Seoul, South Korea. In this role you will help customers install, configure, and operate Datadog's observability platform, diagnose issues, and ensure successful outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to customers via email, chat, and phone.
- Troubleshoot production incidents and investigate performance or integration issues with Datadog.
- Reproduce customer issues, document steps clearly, and communicate effective solutions.
- Collaborate with Solutions Engineers and Sales Engineering on complex cases.
- Contribute to knowledge base and share best practices with customers.
- Occasionally assist with onboarding and training of new customers.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of professional experience in technical support or a customer-facing role (entry to mid level).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and basic networking concepts.
- Experience with Linux/Unix command line and scripting basics.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent experience is a plus.
Nice-to-have
- Experience with Datadog or other observability tools.
- Understanding of containers (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with monitoring, dashboards, and incident response workflows.
