Role Overview

Datadog is seeking a Technical Account Manager 2 to join our North America team, supporting customers in San Francisco or Denver. In this client-facing role, you will be the technical advocate for Datadog’s platform, helping customers achieve value quickly and scale adoption across their teams.

Responsibilities

  • Guide onboarding and successful adoption of Datadog across customers.
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for strategic accounts.
  • Collaborate with engineering, sales, and product teams to resolve incidents and align on outcomes.
  • Monitor customer health metrics, drive renewal opportunities, and prepare quarterly business reviews.
  • Troubleshoot integration and performance issues, and provide best-practice guidance on instrumentation and observability.
  • Deliver knowledge transfer and enable customers to self-serve effectively.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in Technical Account Management, Customer Success, or related field.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and modern software development practices.
  • Familiarity with observability tools and data analysis concepts (APM, logs, metrics, traces).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable with executive-level engagements.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
