Role overview
Datadog is seeking a Technical Account Manager 2 to join its Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) team. This full-time role focuses on managing strategic technical relationships with enterprise customers and helping them realize the value of Datadog's monitoring and observability platform in Dublin, Ireland and London, United Kingdom.
What you'll do
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor to assigned enterprise accounts in the EMEA region.
- Understand customer goals and map them to Datadog solutions; provide architecture guidance and best practices.
- Deliver onboarding, training, and enablement sessions; assist with deployment and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with Sales, Solutions Engineers, and Customer Success to drive adoption, renewals, and expansion opportunities.
- Monitor account health, usage, and ROI; identify expansion opportunities and renewal risks.
- Gather customer feedback to inform product improvements and drive advocacy.
What we're looking for
- 3+ years in technical account management, customer-facing engineering, or SaaS support in a monitoring/observability context.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containers (Docker, Kubernetes), and the Datadog product suite (APM, logs, metrics, synthetics, security monitoring).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work across time zones in EMEA and willingness to travel as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience; professional certifications a plus.
Nice to have
- Datadog-specific certifications or relevant vendor certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP).
