Strategic Account Executive - West at Datadog

Datadog is looking for a Strategic Account Executive to drive enterprise sales in the West region from Mumbai, India. You will own the full sales cycle, build executive relationships with strategic accounts, and articulate Datadog''s observability platform to both technical and business buyers. This is a high-impact role requiring strategic thinking, strong stakeholder management, and a track record of over-quota performance in enterprise software.

What you''ll do

  • Own end-to-end enterprise sales cycles for strategic accounts in the West region
  • Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities
  • Position Datadog''s platform (APM, Infrastructure Monitoring, Logs, Security) to senior buyers
  • Collaborate with Solutions Engineers and Customer Success to ensure successful deployments and adoption
  • Forecast accurately, maintain a healthy pipeline, and achieve quarterly quotas
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key customers

What we''re looking for

  • 5+ years of enterprise software sales experience with a proven quota attainment
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
  • Experience selling SaaS solutions and navigating complex enterprise deals
  • Ability to engage with both technical and business stakeholders
  • Willingness to travel as needed
