Strategic Account Executive (UKI) at Datadog

Datadog is seeking a Strategic Account Executive to lead revenue growth in the United Kingdom & Ireland (UKI) region. You will own the full sales cycle, engage with senior executives, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive customer success.

Role Overview

As the Strategic Account Executive for UKI, you will drive strategic deals, build and manage a robust pipeline, and close new business with enterprise customers in the UK and Ireland. You will collaborate with product, solutions engineering, and customer success to deliver value and ensure long-term partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end sales cycle for strategic UKI accounts from prospecting to closure
  • Develop robust account plans and drive revenue growth within the UK and Ireland markets
  • Engage with C-level and senior executives to communicate value and ROI of Datadog solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to tailor solutions, respond to RFPs, and overcome objections
  • Forecast accurately and maintain a healthy pipeline to meet or exceed quota
  • Travel as required to engage with customers and partners

Requirements

  • Proven track record of enterprise software sales success in the UKI/EMEA region
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with senior executives
  • Ability to navigate complex organizations and multi-product offerings
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of cloud monitoring, DevOps, or SaaS platforms is a plus
