Datadog – Strategic Account Executive (Italy)
Overview
Datadog is seeking a Strategic Account Executive to drive revenue in the Italian market from a remote location within Europe. You will own the end-to-end sales cycle for strategic, enterprise customers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful deployments of Datadog's observability platform.
What you'll do
- Develop and execute a territory plan for Italy, targeting strategic accounts
- Identify and engage C-level stakeholders to articulate the business value of Datadog
- Lead the sales process from discovery to close, coordinating with Solutions Engineers and Value Engineers
- Build ROI cases and craft compelling value propositions
- Forecast accurately and manage opportunities in the CRM
- Collaborate with Customer Success for successful onboarding and expansion
- Represent Datadog at events and in partner ecosystems
What we're looking for
- 5+ years of enterprise software or cloud observability/SaaS sales experience
- Track record of meeting or exceeding quota in large ARR deals
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Experience selling to CIO/CTO/VP-level executives
- Fluency in Italian; English proficiency preferred
- Ability to work remotely in Europe and travel as needed
Nice-to-have
- Experience with Datadog's product suite or cloud monitoring/tools
- Knowledge of DevOps, APM, SRE concepts
