Datadog is seeking a Staff Accountant II to join our Finance team in New York City. This role focuses on accurate financial reporting, general ledger activities, and supporting the month-end close process.
Responsibilities
- Assist with general ledger entries, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, and the month-end close process.
- Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Support internal controls, respond to audit requests, and drive process improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial reporting and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field; CPA candidacy preferred.
- 2+ years of accounting experience; strong knowledge of GAAP.
- Proficient in Excel; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite) a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: 68,000 - 90,000 USD per year. Datadog offers competitive benefits and opportunities for professional growth.
