Datadog is seeking a Software Engineer for Incident Management to join the Global Information Security team in the EMEA region. You will design and implement incident management tooling, automate response workflows, and collaborate across teams to reduce time-to-mitigation and improve post-incident learning.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain incident management tooling and dashboards
- Integrate with alerting/monitoring systems to streamline incident response
- Collaborate with security, SRE, and product teams during incidents
- Develop runbooks and playbooks for incident response
- Improve detection, triage, and mitigation processes
- Participate in on-call rotations and post-incident reviews
Qualifications
- 3+ years of software engineering experience
- Proficiency in Python or Go; familiarity with monitoring/alerting tools
- Experience with incident response, security operations, or reliability engineering
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
