Senior IT Procurement Specialist

Role Overview

Datadog is seeking a Senior IT Procurement Specialist to join our Enterprise Technology team in New York, NY. You will own strategic procurement of IT hardware, software licenses, and cloud services, partner with Engineering and IT teams, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with ITAR data access where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end IT procurement for hardware, software, and cloud services across the enterprise technology portfolio.
• Negotiate terms with vendors, manage contracts, and monitor performance metrics.
• Collaborate with Engineering, IT, Security, and Compliance teams to determine requirements, ensure compliance, including ITAR data handling where required, and optimize spend.
• Manage supplier relationships, onboarding, risk assessments, and vendor risk management programs.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies to reduce cost, improve quality, and ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain procurement data, spend analytics, and governance processes to support business decisions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in IT procurement or strategic sourcing.
• Strong knowledge of IT hardware, software licenses, and cloud services.
• Excellent negotiation, vendor management, and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, or a related field.
• Familiarity with ITAR data access and handling is a plus or required depending on role.

ITAR & Compliance

This role may require access to ITAR-controlled data. You must be eligible to access ITAR data if required by the business unit.
