Datadog is hiring a Senior Internal Auditor to join our Finance organization in New York. You will help strengthen internal controls, enhance risk management, and ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX processes across the company.

Role Overview

As a Senior Internal Auditor, you will lead and execute internal audit activities, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and support continuous process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Plan, perform, and report on internal audits of financial and operational processes.
• Evaluate design and operating effectiveness of internal controls and related control activities.
• Assist in SOX compliance, risk assessment, and remediation tracking.
• Collaborate with business partners to implement process improvements.
• Communicate findings clearly to stakeholders and monitor action plan progress.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; professional certification (CPA, CIA, or equivalent) preferred.
• 5+ years of internal audit, risk management, or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, SOX, and internal controls.
• Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL) and a data-driven mindset.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
