Overview
Datadog is seeking a Product Marketing Manager to lead the go-to-market strategy for the Database Monitoring product. This role partners with Product, Sales, and Customer Success to define positioning, messaging, and demand generation that accelerates adoption and revenue in North America.
Responsibilities
- Develop and articulate clear product positioning, messaging, and value proposition for the Database Monitoring offering.
- Define and execute the go-to-market strategy, including pricing, packaging, launch plans, and competitive messaging.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to translate customer needs into features and requirements that drive product success.
- Enable sales with training, battle cards, content, and playbooks; partner with Demand Gen and Field Marketing to drive demand and pipeline.
- Monitor market trends, collect customer feedback, assess competitive landscape, and quantify revenue impact.
- Create content and assets for campaigns, events, webinars, case studies, and thought leadership to support global and regional initiatives.
Requirements
- 5+ years of product marketing, demand generation, or related SaaS marketing experience, preferably in cloud observability, monitoring, or DevOps.
- Proven ability to define messaging, positioning, and GTM strategy for software products.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with product, sales, marketing, and enablement teams.
- Data-driven with excellent written and verbal communication abilities; comfortable presenting to executives and field teams.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; MBA or related advanced degree a plus.
