Manager, Technical Solutions Field Enablement

Job Overview

Datadog is seeking a Manager, Technical Solutions Field Enablement in New York, NY for a full-time on-site role. You will lead the design and execution of scalable enablement programs for the Datadog field team in North America. You will partner with Sales, Solutions Architects, Product, and Marketing to create training curricula, playbooks, certification programs, and field-ready resources that accelerate customer adoption and revenue growth. You will manage a small team of enablement professionals and define success metrics to continuously improve programs based on feedback and performance data.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and delivery of technical enablement content for Field Solutions, including onboarding, product deep-dives, competitive intel, and demonstration scripts.
• Collaborate with Product Marketing, Sales, and Engineering to translate complex Datadog capabilities into practical customer-facing materials.
• Design and implement measurement frameworks, track attendance, knowledge retention, and impact on win rates.
• Coach and mentor field engineers and solution engineers; scale enablement across regions.
• Manage budget, calendars, and cross-functional programs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in technical enablement, field enablement, or related roles in SaaS/tech.
• Experience leading teams; strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Deep understanding of cloud monitoring and observability concepts; familiarity with Datadog is a plus.
• Ability to translate technical topics into clear customer value propositions.
• Experience with learning management systems and content authoring tools.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
