We are seeking a Manager I, Engineering - Org Management and Governance (OMG) to lead the Engineering Org Governance program across the company in Europe (EMEA).

Role overview

As the Manager I, Engineering - Org Management and Governance (OMG), you will define, implement, and maintain governance standards, processes, and controls that scale with our rapidly growing engineering organization. You will collaborate with product, security, platform teams, and engineering management to drive operational excellence, risk management, and compliance across the software lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement organisation-wide governance standards, policies, and best practices for software delivery.
• Partner with Security, Compliance, Product, and Platform teams to ensure alignment with security and regulatory requirements (SOC 2, ISO 27001 style controls).
• Build and maintain governance metrics, dashboards, and reporting for leadership and engineering management.
• Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technical program managers; coach managers across the org.
• Drive release management, incident response governance, change management, and documentation across multiple squads in EMEA.
• Develop and maintain documentation, playbooks, and auditing processes to support scale.
• Foster a culture of quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering leadership or technical program management experience.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, system architecture, and engineering governance.
• Experience with security/compliance frameworks and risk management in a large engineering organization.
• Excellent written and spoken communication; ability to influence across teams and levels.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
