Datadog is looking for an experienced Implementation Services Project Manager to lead enterprise onboarding and deployment projects for our platform. You will partner with customers and cross-functional teams to deliver successful implementations, ensure scope clarity, manage timelines and risks, and drive adoption of Datadog solutions.

Role overview

The Implementation Services Project Manager will own end-to-end project delivery, orchestrating activities across Sales, Solutions Engineering, Professional Services, Customer Success, and Engineering to ensure on-time, on-budget deployments that meet customer objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex implementation projects from kickoff to go-live and post-launch handoff.
• Develop detailed project plans, milestones, and resource plans; monitor progress and adjust as needed.
• Identify risks and issues, communicate updates to stakeholders, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate customer requirements into actionable deployment tasks.
• Maintain scope discipline, manage change requests, and ensure customer satisfaction and adoption.
• Provide guidance on best practices for Datadog deployment, integration, and data migration.
• Engage with executive sponsors to report status and drive alignment on timelines and outcomes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of project management or program management experience in SaaS or enterprise software implementations (or equivalent experience with extensive customer-facing deployments).
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, technical environment.
• Ability to translate customer needs into clear, actionable project plans and success metrics.
• Willingness to travel as required by client engagements.
• Project management certifications (e.g., PMP) or equivalent experience is a plus.
