Overview
Datadog is seeking an Enterprise Security Sales Specialist to drive strategic security-focused solutions with enterprise customers in North America. You will partner with customers to understand their security needs, articulate how Datadog’s security offerings fit into their security architectures, and help close deals that improve customer security postures while delivering on revenue targets.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute enterprise security sales strategies to secure new logos and expand relationships with existing customers in North America.
- Grow pipeline by identifying security use cases, mapping customers’ security architectures, and communicating Datadog’s security value proposition.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales Engineers, Solutions Architects, Customer Success) to deliver compelling security solutions and proposals.
- Manage and forecast deals, maintain accurate opportunity records, and achieve quarterly and annual bookings targets.
- Act as a trusted advisor on security best practices, compliance, and risk reduction for customers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of enterprise security sales experience selling to large organizations.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a SaaS/security context.
- Strong understanding of security architectures, threat landscapes, and cloud security concepts.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with ability to articulate complex security solutions to technical and executive stakeholders.
- Ability to travel as needed within North America.
