Role overview: Datadog is seeking an experienced Enterprise Sales Engineer who can drive technical engagements for Bahasa Indonesia-speaking customers within the APAC region. This is a customer-facing pre-sales role working alongside the Enterprise Sales team to qualify opportunities, articulate Datadog’s value, and deliver compelling product demonstrations and technical guidance.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery sessions with large enterprise prospects in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
• Deliver interactive product demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and trials for Datadog’s monitoring platform.
• Translate customer requirements into Datadog solutions, architectures, and successful deployments.
• Respond to RFPs and security/compliance questions with clear technical responses.
• Collaborate with Sales, Professional Services, and Customer Success to ensure smooth handoffs and successful deployments.
• Maintain deep knowledge of Datadog’s product suite, APIs, integrations, and competitive landscape.
• Represent Datadog at customer meetings, webinars, and conferences in APAC as needed.

Requirements

• Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English (verbal and written).
• 3+ years in pre-sales engineering or solutions engineering for SaaS/cloud monitoring or related technical field.
• Strong presentation, communication, and storytelling skills; ability to tailor messaging to executive audiences.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), and APIs/instrumentation.
• Proven track record of conducting successful product demonstrations and technical evaluations.
• Willingness to travel within APAC as needed.
