Datadog is seeking a strategic and hands-on leader to own the global financial systems strategy and execution. You will shape and execute a comprehensive transformation of the company’s finance technology stack to enable scalable, accurate, and timely financial reporting across the organization.

Role Overview

As the Director of Financial Systems & Transformation, you will lead the global financial systems roadmap, drive ERP modernization, optimize consolidation and reporting, and ensure data integrity and governance across finance platforms.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the transformation roadmap for financial systems including ERP, consolidation, reporting, and data governance.
• Lead cross-functional programs with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders; manage budgets, timelines, and risk.
• Collaborate with ERP vendors and internal data teams to ensure data integrity and effective analytics.
• Drive process standardization, automation, and control improvements to scale with the company’s growth.
• Build and mentor a high-performing team of finance systems professionals.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in financial systems, ERP implementations, and transformation programs.
• Proven leadership of large, global programs and cross-functional teams.
• Strong knowledge of ERP platforms (Workday, SAP, Oracle Financials) and data integration best practices.
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills; experience with data warehousing and reporting tools.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and strategic thinking.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or related field; MBA or CPA/CMA preferred.
