Overview
DataCamp, a leading online platform for data science education, is seeking a Paid Media Director to lead and scale our paid media strategy globally. The role reports to the VP of Marketing and will own planning, execution, optimization, and measurement of paid media campaigns across channels.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a scalable paid media strategy across Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and programmatic networks.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, bidding strategies, and optimization to achieve CAC and ROAS targets.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high performing paid media team; collaborate with marketing, analytics, creative, and product.
- Establish a robust measurement framework including attribution modeling, reporting dashboards, and experimentation.
- Evaluate and select ad tech partners, oversee onboarding and integration, and ensure brand safety and compliance.
- Communicate performance to senior leadership and translate data insights into actionable business decisions.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of paid media experience in tech, SaaS, or education sectors; senior leadership experience preferred.
- Proven track record scaling CAC and ROAS and driving growth in a fast paced environment.
- Hands on expertise with Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and programmatic platforms; strong analytics skills.
- Proficiency with analytics tools such as GA4 and attribution modeling; data driven decision making.
- Excellent communication and cross functional leadership abilities.
