Overview
Databricks is seeking a Strategic Financial Services Account Executive - Hunter to drive new business in the Northeast United States. In this role you will lead the sales cycle from prospecting to close, focusing on strategic accounts within the financial services sector and expanding Databricks' footprint with enterprise customers.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue strategic opportunities in the financial services market
- Manage the full sales cycle from qualification to closing including negotiations
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships with target accounts
- Develop territory plans, forecast and hit or exceed quota
- Collaborate with Solutions Engineers, Sales Engineers and cross-functional teams
- Coordinate onboarding and adoption of Databricks platform at early stages
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise software sales experience, preferably in financial services
- Proven track record of new logo acquisition and large, complex deals
- Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Experience selling data analytics, cloud platforms or data-centric solutions
- Ability to travel within the Northeast region
