Databricks is a leading data and AI company delivering a unified platform for data analytics and collaboration. We’re seeking a Strategic Core Account Executive - CPG to drive revenue growth with strategic consumer packaged goods accounts. This is a remote role based in the United States (Remote - Illinois described in the posting).

Role Overview

You will own the end-to-end sales cycle for a portfolio of high-value CP G accounts, from prospecting through renewal, and you will partner closely with cross-functional teams to articulate business value and ROI of the Databricks platform. This role requires executive engagement with CIO/CTO/CFO and other senior stakeholders and a proven track record of quota attainment in enterprise software or data analytics solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans for key CPG customers, identifying and pursuing multi-quarter opportunities.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation and qualification to proposal, negotiation, and close.
  • Build and deliver compelling business cases and ROI analyses to engage C-suite sponsorship.
  • Collaborate with Solutions Engineers, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to tailor solutions to customer needs.
  • Forecast accurately and maintain a healthy pipeline with consistent progression of opportunities.
  • Nurture long-term relationships with key stakeholders and influence decision-makers at multiple levels.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record in enterprise software or data analytics sales, with 8+ years of experience in strategic/enterprise markets.
  • Experience selling to CP G organizations and managing complex, multi-quarter deals.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to articulate business value to executives.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work effectively in a remote environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
