Role Overview
The Strategic Core Account Executive will own the end-to-end sales process for a portfolio of strategic enterprise accounts in Australia. You will build executive-level relationships, understand customer business outcomes, and position Databricks solutions to accelerate data-driven initiatives. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to close complex, multi-year deals and deliver measurable business impact.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic account plans with clear revenue targets for assigned enterprise accounts.
- Prospect, qualify, and manage a robust pipeline; close deals with significant ARR and long-term strategic value.
- Collaborate with Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, Legal, and Product to craft compelling value propositions and win strategies.
- Forecast accurately and maintain healthy pipeline management; contribute to regional GTM plans.
- Negotiate terms, renewals, and expansions to build enduring partnerships.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in strategic enterprise software sales or equivalent, with a proven track record of quota attainment.
- Experience selling to C-suite and senior IT/Business leaders; strong business acumen.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills; ability to articulate complex data/AI value propositions and ROI.
- Self-mmotivated, collaborative, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
