Strategic Account Executive - ISV
Overview
The Strategic Account Executive - ISV will drive revenue by partnering with Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) to expand Databricks' footprint in enterprise accounts. This role is based in Baden-Württemberg, Germany and may involve travel as required.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to grow Databricks' revenue with key ISV partners.
- Identify and close joint opportunities with ISVs, including co-sell motions and go-to-market planning.
- Manage the full sales cycle from qualification to close, including contract negotiations.
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships with ISV partners and customers.
- Collaborate with Solutions Engineers, Product teams, and partners to tailor value propositions.
- Forecasts, pipelines, and reporting to leadership.
Requirements
- 5+ years of enterprise software sales or strategic account management, preferably in a partner/ISV environment.
- Proven track record of achieving quota and growing strategic partnerships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Fluency in English; German language skills are a plus.
