We are seeking a Senior Strategic Account Executive focused on the Automotive sector to drive growth and deepen partnerships with key customers in Europe.

Role overview

As a Strategic Account Executive dedicated to the Automotive industry, you will build trusted relationships with C-level and senior stakeholders, identify high-value opportunities, and position Databricks solutions to address core business outcomes. You will own the end-to-end sales cycle, collaborate with Solutions Engineers and partners, and help customers realize rapid value from the Databricks Lakehouse Platform.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic plan for target automotive accounts in Europe, identifying expansion opportunities and setting long-term growth goals.
  • Engage with senior executives to understand business challenges and map them to Databricks Lakehouse capabilities (data engineering, data science, and analytics).
  • Lead end-to-end sales cycles from discovery and qualification through proposal, negotiation, and close.
  • Collaborate with Solutions Engineers, Partners, and Legal to craft compelling, value-driven proposals and contracts.
  • Forecast accurately, manage a healthy pipeline, and achieve or exceed quarterly and annual targets.
  • Represent Databricks in executive forums, industry events, and customer engagements to drive brand and solution awareness.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of enterprise software sales experience, with a proven track record of closing large, strategic deals in the automotive sector or adjacent industries.
  • Strong ability to navigate complex organizations, map stakeholders, and influence decisions at the C-level.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in English; German language skills are highly desirable.
  • Experience selling cloud-based data and analytics platforms; familiarity with Databricks is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience; willingness to travel as needed.
