Databricks is seeking a Staff Product Security Engineer to help build secure Databricks products from London. You will lead security engineering across product teams, drive threat modeling and secure design reviews, and collaborate with engineers, product managers, and security teams to raise the bar for security across the platform.

Responsibilities

Lead product security engineering across Databricks products
Design and implement secure-by-default features and controls
Conduct threat modeling, secure design reviews, and security testing
Manage vulnerability identification, remediation, and incident response
Collaborate with product, engineering, SRE, and security teams
Mentor engineers and help mature security culture and practices
Contribute to security standards, playbooks, and best practices

Qualifications

Proven experience in product security engineering or related field
Strong knowledge of cloud security, identity and access management, and encryption
Experience with secure SDLC, threat modeling, security testing, and incident response
Proficiency with at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Go, Java)
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
