Sr. Strategy & Execution Manager, Field Engineering

Overview

Databricks is seeking a Senior Strategy & Execution Manager, Field Engineering to lead strategic initiatives for the Field Engineering organization. This role will partner with Sales, Solutions Architecture, Product, and Customer Success to design and execute programs that accelerate customer adoption, improve field productivity, and drive business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Define the field engineering strategy and translate it into actionable programs and roadmaps
• Lead cross-functional initiatives with stakeholders across Sales, Product, and Customer Success
• Establish success metrics, track progress, and report outcomes to executives
• Develop enablement content and training for field engineers and frontline teams
• Manage program budgets, timelines, and risk mitigation
• Represent Field Engineering in quarterly business reviews and strategy sessions

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in strategy or program management in technology
• Experience in field engineering, professional services, or customer-facing technical programs
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
• Knowledge of cloud data platforms and Apache Spark is a plus
• BA/BS required; MBA or Master’s degree preferred
