Databricks is seeking a Senior Staff Product Security Engineer to lead the security strategy for our product portfolio. This on-site role is based in Bengaluru, India.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of secure product features across the full product lifecycle
Perform threat modeling and security reviews during planning and development
Drive vulnerability management and remediation across cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP)
Develop and maintain secure coding practices, SAST/DAST tooling, and CI/CD security controls
Mentor and grow security engineers; collaborate with product, engineering and platform teams
Respond to security incidents and participate in post-incident analysis
Contribute to security policies, standards, and governance

Requirements / Qualifications

8+ years of experience in product security or related field
Strong knowledge of threat modeling, vulnerability management, and incident response
Hands-on experience with cloud security across AWS/Azure/GCP
Familiarity with security testing methodologies, SAST/DAST, and secure SDLC
Excellent collaboration and communication with cross-functional teams
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Scala; experience with Spark is a plus
