Sr. Specialist Solutions Architect - AWS Partner Solution Architect

Role Overview

Databricks is seeking a Sr. Specialist Solutions Architect - AWS Partner Solution Architect to collaborate with AWS and Databricks customers to design and implement scalable data and analytics solutions on the Databricks Lakehouse Platform. This role focuses on technical pre-sales, architecture guidance, and partner enablement to deliver high-impact cloud data workloads on AWS.

Responsibilities

• Partner with AWS teams to drive joint customer engagements and reference architectures.
• Design and propose scalable, secure, high-performance data solutions on the Databricks platform.
• Translate business requirements into technical roadmaps and implementation plans.
• Lead technical demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and pilots.
• Provide guidance on best practices for data governance, security, and operations.
• Collaborate with customer success and sales to remove technical obstacles and accelerate deployment.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a Solutions Architect or similar role in cloud environments, with a focus on AWS.
• Strong knowledge of data engineering, data lakehouse concepts, Apache Spark, and the Databricks platform.
• Proven track record in customer-facing technical leadership and pre-sales activities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent; relevant AWS certifications are a plus.
