Job Summary

Databricks is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to join our Manufacturing-focused team on the West Coast. This on-site role partners with customers to design and demonstrate data and analytics solutions using the Databricks Lakehouse Platform, articulate value, and drive technical engagements from pre-sales to post-sales success.

Responsibilities

Partner with manufacturing customers to understand data workflows and business needs
Design and deliver scalable data analytics and machine learning solutions on the Databricks Lakehouse Platform
Create technical demonstrations, proofs-of-concept, and pilot deployments
Collaborate with Sales, Solutions Engineers, and Customer Engineers to articulate ROI and value
Provide technical guidance to customers and help drive adoption

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in solutions engineering, field engineering, or related roles
Strong background in data analytics, big data platforms, SQL, Python/Scala
Familiarity with manufacturing industry workflows and data
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Willingness to travel as needed
