Overview
Databricks is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer - Enterprise Greenfield for Italy. This remote role is part of the Field Engineering team and focuses on enterprise customers deploying the Databricks platform at scale.
Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to enterprise customers to understand data analytics and platform requirements.
- Design, prototype, and deliver end-to-end Databricks-based data solutions for greenfield deployments.
- Lead technical discovery sessions, run proofs-of-concept (POCs), and present solutions to stakeholders.
- Provide guidance on performance, security, governance, integration with cloud data stacks, and best practices.
- Create reusable reference architectures and patterns for common enterprise use cases.
- Support customer success initiatives and knowledge transfer to customer teams.
Qualifications
- Experience in data engineering, data science, or ML on cloud platforms.
- Proficiency with Spark/Databricks, SQL, and Python or Scala.
- Familiarity with cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP) and related data tooling.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to work remotely and manage multiple priorities.
