Databricks is the Data and AI company behind the Databricks Lakehouse Platform. We are seeking a skilled Sr. Solutions Engineer to join our team in Herzliya, Israel, helping customers unlock the value of data analytics with the Databricks platform.

Role Overview

As a Sr. Solutions Engineer, you will partner with customers and cross-functional teams to understand data, analytics, and machine learning needs, and demonstrate how the Databricks platform addresses those challenges. You will lead technical discussions, design solutions, and deliver compelling demonstrations and proofs of concept.

Responsibilities

Lead technical discovery and design of customer solutions on the Databricks platform
Deliver product demonstrations and proofs of concept to prospective customers
Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams to ensure customer success
Provide architectural guidance on scalable data pipelines, analytics, and ML use cases using Spark, Delta Lake, and the Databricks Lakehouse
Build trust with customers through clear communication, demonstrations, and technical expertise

Requirements

5+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering or Field Engineering
Strong knowledge of Apache Spark, Delta Lake, SQL, and Python (or Scala)
Hands-on experience with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to travel as needed
