Sr. Product Manager, Developer Experience

Overview

Databricks is seeking a Senior Product Manager for Developer Experience to lead developer-facing initiatives across the Databricks platform. You will partner with engineering, design, data science, and customer teams to improve tooling, APIs, SDKs, and experiences that empower developers to build on the Databricks Lakehouse Platform.

Responsibilities

• Define the product vision and strategy for developer experience, including APIs, SDKs, tooling, and documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering to deliver reliable, scalable developer tools and high-quality APIs.
• Gather customer insights, measure success via metrics like API usage, developer velocity, and time-to-value, and translate learnings into actionable requirements.
• Own the product roadmap, prioritize the backlog, and align with design, data science, and go-to-market teams.
• Communicate roadmaps and progress to stakeholders and influence product direction across the organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience for developer-facing products or developer tools.
• Proven track record shipping APIs/SDKs/CLI tools or similar developer tooling.
• Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Technical fluency with APIs, cloud platforms, data platforms, and SQL; experience with the Databricks platform is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
