Databricks is seeking a Senior Engagement Manager for the Public Sector to lead and manage complex customer engagements, drive platform adoption of the Databricks Data & AI Platform within government and public sector accounts, and deliver measurable outcomes. This remote role collaborates with Sales, Solutions Engineering, Professional Services, and Customer Success to ensure successful delivery and long-term customer value.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end public sector engagements from scoping to delivery
- Define success metrics and develop account plans
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (Sales, Solutions Engineering, Professional Services, Support)
- Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and risks
- Foster executive relationships and provide regular status updates
- Drive platform adoption, customer satisfaction, and renewal opportunities
- Contribute to practice development, knowledge sharing, and case studies
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in engagement management, delivery, or professional services in the public sector
- Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with cloud data platforms, data analytics, and data engineering is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred
