Solutions Architect - Rome OR Milan Based

Role Overview

Databricks is seeking a Solutions Architect based in Rome or Milan, with remote work available for Italy. Your primary focus is to design and implement scalable data and AI solutions on the Databricks Lakehouse Platform for enterprise customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery sessions with customers to understand business problems and translate them into robust technical architectures.
• Design end-to-end data and analytics architectures using Databricks components (Delta Lake, Apache Spark, Unity Catalog, MLflow).
• Provide hands-on guidance during implementations and pilot projects, and contribute to pre-sales activities with clear technical proposals.
• Collaborate with customers, sales teams, data engineers, and product teams to drive customer success and accelerate cloud adoption.

Requirements

• Strong experience with data engineering and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficiency in Python and SQL; ability to write efficient data pipelines and analytics queries.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven track record delivering data-driven solutions in a customer-facing role.
