Databricks is a leading data and AI company that unifies data warehouses and data lakes on the Lakehouse Platform. This role supports our Asia Pacific Go-To-Market initiatives, focusing on Bahasa Indonesian-speaking customers in Singapore and the broader region.

The Role

As a Solutions Architect, you will partner with customers to design and implement scalable data and AI solutions on the Databricks Lakehouse Platform. You will translate business requirements into technical architectures, lead workshops and proofs of concept, and collaborate with Field Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success to accelerate customer value. Fluency in Bahasa Indonesian and strong communication in English are required to effectively engage with customers across APAC.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers to understand business goals and translate them into robust Databricks-based architectures.
• Design end-to-end data and analytics solutions on the Databricks Lakehouse Platform, covering data ingestion, processing, governance, and analytics.
• Lead technical workshops, demonstrations, and proofs-of-concept engagements to validate architectures and ROI.
• Partner with Field Engineers, Solutions Engineers, and Sales teams to map customer requirements to Databricks capabilities.
• Provide guidance on cloud deployments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and best practices for security, scalability, and performance.
• Deliver customer-ready architecture diagrams, implementation plans, and clear success criteria.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Bahasa Indonesian with strong English communication skills.
• Experience in data engineering, data analytics, or solutions architecture in cloud environments.
• Hands-on familiarity with Databricks or Apache Spark, SQL, Python, or Scala.
• Solid understanding of data lakehouse concepts, data governance, and performance optimization.
• Ability to engage with customers at technical and executive levels and to explain complex concepts clearly.
