Senior Solutions Engineer - Stockholm or Helsinki based

Job Description

Databricks is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to support customers from Stockholm or Helsinki. You will work on front-line technical engagements to help customers adopt the Databricks platform. Responsibilities include delivering product demonstrations, crafting technical solutions from customer requirements, and collaborating with Sales and Product teams to drive successful outcomes. This is a customer-facing role that requires deep technical expertise in big data, cloud data platforms, and the Databricks platform.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with customers and act as a trusted advisor
• Deliver compelling product demonstrations and technical workshops
• Gather customer requirements, map to Databricks solutions, and architect deployments
• Collaborate with Sales, Solutions Engineering, and Product teams
• Provide guidance during deployment, integration, and migration
• Create reusable technical content and best practices
• Travel as needed to meet customers

Qualifications

• 5+ years in solutions engineering or similar field
• Strong knowledge of Apache Spark, Databricks, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience with ETL/ELT, data warehouses, data lakes
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
• Ability to work in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment
• Willingness to travel (up to 50%)
