Senior Solutions Architect - Strategic Accounts, Digital Native Business

Job Description

Databricks is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to join its Field Engineering team as part of the Strategic Accounts, Digital Native Business group. You will drive technical engagement and deliver differentiated data and analytics solutions on the Databricks Lakehouse Platform for our most strategic customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and influence technical engagements with strategic accounts within the Digital Native Business segment.
• Design and present scalable data and analytics architectures using the Databricks Lakehouse Platform.
• Create and validate reference architectures, run PoCs, and accelerate customer adoption and value realization.
• Collaborate with Sales, Solutions Engineers, and Customer Success to align technical solutions with business outcomes.
• Provide technical guidance on data engineering, analytics, and governance best practices across cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Develop technical collateral, whitepapers, and best-practice playbooks to enable customers and field teams.
• Maintain expert knowledge of industry trends and competitive landscape to position Databricks effectively.

Requirements

• 7+ years of solutions architecture, data engineering, or related customer-facing technical leadership experience.
• Strong expertise with Apache Spark, SQL, Python, and data analytics architectures; experience with Delta Lake and the Databricks platform.
• Hands-on experience across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud ecosystems.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Travel as needed to near-term strategic accounts.
