Senior Solutions Architect - Strategic Accounts, Digital Native Business

Databricks is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect for Strategic Accounts within its Digital Native Business. This pre-sales focused role partners with customers to design and implement scalable data and AI solutions on the Databricks platform.

About the Role

You will lead technical engagements with strategic accounts, translate business goals into reference architectures, and drive adoption of the Databricks platform across data pipelines, lakehouse architectures and ML workflows.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Strategic Accounts in the Digital Native Business to define data and AI solutions on Databricks.
• Architect and present reference architectures, data pipelines, and ML workflows.
• Lead technical discovery, workshops, and proof of concept demonstrations.
• Collaborate with customers, Account Executives, and Solutions Engineers to advance opportunities.
• Contribute to architecture diagrams, best practices, and implementation plans.
• Stay current on product capabilities and cloud data ecosystem.

Requirements

• 8+ years in solutions architecture, data engineering or technical pre-sales.
• Deep knowledge of cloud platforms AWS, Azure, GCP and the Databricks platform including Spark and Delta Lake.
• Strong SQL and programming skills in Python (and optional Scala).
• Experience delivering scalable data lakehouse architectures, data pipelines and ML workflows.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
