Senior Pre-Sales Solutions Architect

Overview

Databricks is seeking a Senior Pre-Sales Solutions Architect to join the field enablement team in Paris, France. You will partner with sales to architect and communicate compelling Databricks Lakehouse Platform solutions to customers, translating business requirements into technical architectures and actionable POCs.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical pre-sales engagements with enterprise customers in Europe;
• Design and present architecture designs and reference architectures on the Databricks Lakehouse Platform;
• Conduct workshops, build and demonstrate live demos and proof-of-concepts;
• Collaborate with customers, Solutions Engineers, and product teams to map business outcomes to technical solutions;
• Respond to RFPs and support the sales cycle with win strategies;
• Stay current with cloud provider capabilities and the Databricks product roadmap.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in solutions engineering, pre-sales, or data analytics architecture;
• Strong knowledge of Apache Spark, Delta Lake, and the Databricks platform;
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud data warehouses;
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Scala; experience building data pipelines and data lakehouse architectures;
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills; ability to influence at the C-suite level;
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; fluency in English; French is a plus;
• Willingness to travel within Europe as needed.
