Resident Solutions Architect

Overview

Databricks is seeking a Resident Solutions Architect for our India team. This is a customer-facing role where you will design and implement end-to-end data and analytics solutions on the Databricks platform, help customers realize value from their data, and drive adoption of Databricks in complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discussions with customers to gather requirements and translate them into scalable Databricks architectures.
• Design and implement end-to-end data and analytics solutions using Apache Spark, Delta Lake, and data pipelines.
• Deliver technical demonstrations, run proofs-of-concept, and develop reference architectures.
• Collaborate with customers, sales engineers, and Professional Services to ensure successful deployment and adoption.
• Integrate Databricks solutions with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data lakes.
• Provide best practices on performance, security, governance, and operational readiness.
• Travel to customer sites as needed to support engagements.

Qualifications

• Strong background in data engineering, data analytics, or cloud data platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark, Delta Lake, and data lakehouse concepts.
• Familiarity with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern data architectures.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work with cross-functional teams and customers.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
