Manager, Delivery Solutions Architects

Role

Databricks is seeking a Manager, Delivery Solutions Architects to lead a team of Delivery Solutions Architects delivering customer deployments and adoption of the Databricks platform. This role is based in Munich, Germany and focuses on guiding delivery strategies, ensuring successful deployments, and maximizing customer value.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Delivery Solutions Architects to deliver Databricks deployments and drive successful customer outcomes.
• Define and execute delivery strategy, project plans, and governance for customer engagements.
• Collaborate with Sales, Solutions Engineers, and Customer Success to ensure value realization and adoption of the Databricks platform.
• Develop best practices, reusable delivery artifacts, and scalable processes for enterprise deployments.
• Mentor, coach, and grow team capabilities; stand up scalable delivery programs and enable knowledge sharing.
• Advise customers on architectural decisions, data lakehouse architectures, and performance optimizations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in cloud data/solutions architecture or a related field; 2+ years in people leadership/management.
• Hands-on experience with the Databricks platform, Apache Spark, and data lakehouse concepts.
• Strong cross-cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; master's preferred.
