Databricks is seeking a Lead Solutions Architect to drive customer success by designing scalable data and analytics solutions on the Databricks Lakehouse Platform in the United Kingdom. You will lead strategic engagements, craft reference architectures, and partner with customers, Sales Engineers, and Platform Engineers to translate business requirements into robust cloud data solutions.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with customers to understand business problems and translate them into scalable Databricks solutions
• Design and present architectural blueprints, reference architectures, and migration strategies
• Lead technical workshops, conduct proofs-of-concept, and guide product adoption
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure successful deployment and operational excellence
• Mentor junior architects and contribute to field-ready best practices

Requirements

• Extensive experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Apache Spark, Python, SQL, and Delta Lake
• Experience with Databricks Lakehouse Platform and data lakehouse architectures
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable engaging with executives
• Customer-facing consulting or pre-sales experience
• Willingness to travel as needed
