Databricks is seeking an Events Manager to lead the planning and execution of the company’s marketing events across North America. You will partner with Marketing, Product, and Sales to design, deliver, and measure in-person, virtual, and hybrid events that build brand, drive pipeline, and engage customers. Responsibilities include event strategy, budgeting, vendor and venue management, speaker coordination, travel logistics, on-site execution, and post-event analysis.

Responsibilities

Plan and execute a calendar of in-person, virtual, and hybrid events (conferences, user groups, field events)
Manage budgets, timelines, vendors, venues, speakers, and on-site logistics
Collaborate with marketing, product, sales, and partnerships to ensure brand consistency and measurable impact
Define success metrics, track ROI, and report on event performance
Coordinate travel, accommodations, and on-site staffing; manage vendors and sponsorships
Lead post-event follow-up to maximize pipeline influence

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in B2B technology or software event management
Strong project management, budgeting, and vendor management skills
Excellent cross-functional communication and leadership abilities
Ability to travel as needed and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Bachelor's degree preferred
