Databricks Enterprise Hunter Account Executive, Sports
Databricks is seeking an Enterprise Hunter Account Executive, Sports to drive new business within the sports industry and help clients unlock the value of the Databricks data and AI platform. You will lead the end-to-end sales cycle with large enterprise accounts, build strategic account plans, and close deals that deliver measurable business impact.
What you'll do
- Develop and execute a strategic plan to win enterprise sports accounts
- Identify target accounts, build a robust pipeline, and manage the full sales cycle from discovery to close
- Collaborate with Sales Engineers, Legal, Finance, and Marketing to craft tailored proposals and terms
- Negotiate pricing and contracts to maximize value for both Databricks and customers
- Forecast accurately and maintain CRM records (e.g., Salesforce)
- Travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events
What we look for
- 5+ years of enterprise software sales experience with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota
- Experience selling to large accounts, preferably in the sports industry
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with CRM tools and complex deal cycles
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
